Launching 9 January 2027
The app for snagging, tasks and progress reports on site
Stratify is an app for logging defects, assigning them to contractors and reporting progress. It works on a warehouse build and on a flat refurbishment.

What you'll do in the app
Log a defect with a photo
Take a photo on your phone and mark the spot on the drawing. Each defect gets a number, a due date and an owner.
Assign it to a subcontractor
Subcontractors see only their own defects. After the fix they add a photo, and you approve or reject it.
See the status of every defect
Reported, in progress, to review, approved. Overdue defects are marked in red.
Send your client a report
The app gathers photos and completed tasks from the chosen period. You add a comment and send a link.
Generate a PDF record
A defect list with before and after photos, dates and statuses.
Check the change history
Every change of status and due date is saved with the date and the author.
AI · early access
AI summaries and defect analysis
The app uses AI for two things: it writes summaries and shows which defects come up most often.
AI summary
The app writes a summary of the week or the whole project: how many defects were logged and closed, what is overdue and what needs a decision. You edit it and add it to the client report.
Most common defects
The app groups defects from your projects by type, trade, subcontractor and build stage. You see what keeps coming up and get a list of things to check on your next project.
You always see a summary before it goes out and can change it. The analysis covers only your company’s projects. AI features are available in early access after launch, and we develop them with our first customers.
Large build or small refurbishment
Large projects
Warehouses, office buildings, housing developments.
- Many subcontractors on one project.
- Everyone sees only their own defects.
- Your client gets progress reports from the app.
Small projects
Houses, flat refurbishments, retail units.
- One project, a contractor and a client.
- The client reports issues from their phone.
- After handover you keep a record with the list of fixes.
- A separate, cheaper plan for a single project.
Use cases
Defects from the walkround go straight to the right subcontractor.
The report is built from what the team has already recorded in the app.
The client’s comments sit in one list, not in texts and messaging apps.
